COVID-19 Forcing Remote Auditing

Certification bodies are using remote auditing as a method to support continuation of issued certificates in response to extraordinary circumstances created by reaction to COVID-19. Typically remote audits can include processes such as: Internal Audits, Management Review, Process Management, Supplier Management, Customer Service. Manufacturing/production is required to be audited on-site. But in this special situation of COVID-19 the certification body may perform the entire audit remotely. Be prepared to have a process in place to support remote auditing activities.
